Las Vegas—November 18, 2002 -- ViewSonic Corporation is showcasing its latest in next-generation display technology at Comdex 2002. The display-centric devices are the Tablet PC V1100, Pocket PC V35, and the airpanel V110 and V150 Smart Displays.
The Smart Display is a lightweight touch-screen LCD monitor with integrated 802.11b wireless support that allows consumers to use their Windows XP Professional-based PC desktop remotely from any room in the home. The first Windows-powered Smart Displays, ViewSonic's airpanel V110 and V150 will be available on January 8, 2003. The 10-inch V110 will be priced at under $1,000. The V150, a fifteen-inch portable touchscreen monitor, will be under $1,500.
ViewSonic's Tablet PC V1100 combines all the features of a mobile PC with pen-activated screen and digital inking and wireless capability to expand the ability of information workers to collaborate and share data in and throughout the office.
The ViewSonic Pocket PC V35 is the smallest, lightest, and lowest priced Pocket PC in its class. A 3.5-inch device, the Pocket PC V35 enables instant access to stored personal and business information at an industry-leading $299.
